During the third quarter of 2021, the top travel and local apps in South America showed varied performance trends in terms of downloads, revenue, and active users. We analyzed data from Booking.com: Hotels & Travel, Airbnb, Decolar: Voos e Hotéis, Find my Phone - Family Locator, and 123milhas: Voos e Hotéis to bring you detailed insights.

Booking.com: Hotels & Travel experienced a steady increase in weekly downloads, starting from 118K in late June and peaking at approximately 169K by the end of September. The app also maintained a stable trend in weekly active users, with numbers hovering around 2.5M to 2.6M throughout the quarter.

Airbnb saw a consistent rise in weekly downloads, beginning at 96K at the end of June and reaching approximately 135K by the end of September. The app's weekly active users also followed an upward trajectory, starting at around 1.2M and closing the quarter at approximately 1.35M.

Decolar: Voos e Hotéis showed a moderate increase in weekly downloads, from 80K at the end of June to about 104K by the end of September. The active user base grew steadily, beginning at 721K and ending the quarter at approximately 879K.

Find my Phone - Family Locator demonstrated significant growth in both weekly downloads and revenue. Downloads surged from 14.5K in late June to around 108K by the end of September.
